Examination Rules
Tests will be conducted according to the scheduled time-table.
The average marks of the unit test, half yearly and final examination will be considered for promotion to the next class.
A student who is absent for any test or examination will on no account be re-tested.
Cheating in an examination will result in a zero in the subject and if repeated, further action will be taken.
No student will be allowed go to home early after appearing for a test.
In case of test or exams having to be postponed owing to unavoidable circumstance, they will be conducted after the last test.
Failure in English Subject will result in detention.
A student who fails twice consecutively in the same class will have to leave the school
Progress & Promotion
Promotions are governed by the regulations of the Council for The Indian School Certificate Examination.
Decisions on promotion are based on the studentās overall progress throughout the year, including performance in tests and examinations.
Report cards will not be issued unless all school fees are paid in full.
Promotions are reflected in the final report, and students advance to their new classes in March each year.
Frequent absences or missing the Final Examination may result in loss of promotion.
Failure in a class may occur due to: Inadequate performance in English (Language and Literature), or Failure in two or more subjects.
Once promotion is refused, it will not be reconsidered under any circumstances.
